HLB’s 2017 Asia Pacific Conference helps to create ‘Partnerships for Prosperity’

MELBOURNE – HLB’s 2017 Asia Pacific Conference, hosted by Australian member firm HLB Mann Judd in Melbourne, brought together nearly 80 attendees from the HLB network in Asia Pacific and the rest of the world, and became the largest regional conference to date.
Apart from the large delegation from Greater China and the host country Australia, more members from the USA joined the conference, highlighting the business interest in Asia Pacific from the USA in particular.
The conference, dedicated to ‘Partnerships for Prosperity’ welcomed distinguished speakers Daniel Bisignano from the Department of Economic Development Jobs Transport and Resources, and Eric Vassiliadis, State Manager BT Investment Solutions Economist, who delivered the keynote speech and insight on doing business in Australia and its connection to Asia Pacific.
HLB Mann Judd’s business channel partners, including Westpac, BMY Group, SILC, Lauders Group, Moray Agnew, Beer & Co Corporate Advisor, were invited to share their views on Cross-border Investment and doing business with China.

HLB Mann Judd was named as the Best Accounting Firm (revenue $50 – $500 million) in the 2017 Financial Review Client Choice Awards, which is the fifth time the firm has won the award. Tony Fittler, Chairman of HLB Mann Judd, shared with the delegates examples of the federation’s success through his speech “Working together for Success: Best practice from HLB Mann Judd”.
Preceding the conference, a HLB Greater China meeting took place as well as a meeting of our award-winning Global China Service, which was attended by over 20 delegates from Greater China and China Desks from Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA.
